Clean Hair

Thanks for sharing your questions.
It reminded me of what Mark
had said about me
at our wedding.
We each were tasked
with communicating what we liked
about each other.
Among other things, I talked about Mark’s
love for adventure and patience.
He talked about my clean hair

and not to ask my opinion unless you want it.

Everyone laughed. He must have been right.

But I usually keep my opinion to myself
unless someone asks.
Then I’ll share. I guess that’s what he meant.
And now that I know what you are wondering,
I have a few things to share.
Give me the next week or so
to respond.  Thank you.

    Angie,

Since you opened yourself to knowing who was reading, I finally decided to reach out. I have never met you and you do not know me however you have touched my life in such a profound way. I pray for you and Nolan not always knowing what to ask for however knowing that you were left with a hole in your heart that will never be filled.

I am a friend of Dusty’s sister in law and Kerry’s sister, Lisa. After Mark’s accident she told me about you and I have followed your blog ever since. In fact, I have it saved in my internet favorites :) . I have asked so many people in Massachusetts to pray for you that I am sure the prayers extend into other New England states at this point.

At first, it felt as though I was invading your privacy however I have learned more from you than I could ever state in this note. You have reminded me to enjoy the little things and to love and cherish my husband and children no matter what the circumstance.

You have a gift for expressing yourself in your writing and I so admire your love for God. It inspires me to pray more and read my bible more.

My thoughts and prayers continue for you and Nolan. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing what is in yours.

    Blessings,
    Krisan

I remember the comment at the wedding well. It got a good laugh and showed everyone that this marriage was to be a happy loving one. That and those shoes you wore! I could not take my eyes off of them!

I haven’t visited here in a while, but I just wanted you to know that you and your little boy are still in my prayers. A close friend has just lost her 2 year old daughter and I stand amazed at the two of you and think, how could anyone ever get through something like this without a relationship with the Lord?
    Your perseverance increases my faith.

May God’s blessings of peace and mercy continue to rest on you.

Clean hair is a very good thing in a wife! A woman with dirty hair is well DIRTY! So thanks for being a awesome wife. You encourage me to be a better one!
