Instead of a party for Nolan’s birthday this year,
we stayed at the Grand California Hotel- this was the view from our room!
Nolan wanted to dress like boy scouts at Disneyland on his birthday.
Nolan says it was the “best birthday ever”.

Angie, What child wouldn’t want to stay at California Grand Adventure Hotel? A room with bunk beds, he can see the pool with the slide from the room. Disneyland and California Adventure are right out the door. The people that love him coming to share his birthday with him. I know he felt special and the center of attention, what he needed for that special day. What a wonderful birthday you gave him under such a difficult time. Love You, Mom – Grandma Susan

I love the fact that he wanted to dress up like boy scouts for his birthday. So cute and creative! Did just the boys dress up or did you don your tans too? lol. Looks like you are doing a great job Angie and he had a happy birthday. =0) Your still on my heart and in my prayers.

I feel so glad that Nolan and Jake are such great friends. It might have meant more to me than to anyone else that they enjoyed the birthday fun together. What a real blessing to hear Nolan say that this was his best birthday ever, though it was last year and will be the next too I’m sure. So special.

Angie & Nolan,
I found your blog tonight and stayed up reading. I cried when I read the depth of your blog. I am so , so sorry for your loss. I just wanted to let you know that you are vividly in my prayers.
