The good weather
we found while we were
in Seattle
provided us an amazing view
from the Space Needle.

Nolan was pretty tired
from the busy day.
And he was
especially tired of
me taking his picture.

But he’s too cute.

I’m glad that you two got to experience new things; extreme design, beautiful views, new museums, walking into stranger’s rooms…talk about life experience!

I am sure Mark would be glad to know that his son and his wife are able to travel and see new things.

It looks like you had an amazing time in Seattle! I hope you also got to visit the Seattle Center, Pike Place Market and all the other attractions up there. It’s one of my favorite places to be. I hope this trip made time for some wonderful memories of just the two of you.
I was sad to hear in your previous blogs that you felt like you were not whole without Mark there. That everything you had done in the past you had done with him. You are a bright, amazing, and whole woman in your own right Angie.
You need to get out and find that although Mark is gone now, you can and will make it on your own. Not only do you need that, but so does Nolan. He needs to see that his mom is a fighter and will survive. That she can be happy someday again without Daddy there. That the world did not come to an end without Mark in your lives. And that your faith in God will help you to continue on.

So good to see these pictures. We had such a great time with you guys. We really miss you both. We made some great memories! Mark would be proud of you Angie, you are doing so well. The trip was such a positive, fun experience for Nolan and I think it is just what he needed. I love reading about how you are doing (good and bad) and I want to encourage you to keep going. When we were together I could not believe how strong you were. I am proud of you! Hugs – Cousin Jen
By the way, Amanda has taken over my new socks and I had to go to Target to buy a couple more sets. Ha! She loves them. She also still wears her sunglasses everywhere. I think it brings back the memories she has with her cousin Nolan. She is always talking about him! Hopefully you received my package by now. I sent some stuff down last week.

How fun!! I’m so glad you got some of our great weather on your trip to the Pac NW. We were a little warmer (here in Vancouver, WA) during that time, but it was perfect weather. The hotel upgrade story was hilarious! I’m sure it wasn’t at the time, but will be great to tell later on. It’s so great that you are getting out and experiencing new things (just you and Nolan). You will be surprised at how much strength you get from that.
Still praying for you both!
