Nolan turns s-e-v-e-n (7) years old. It’s also five months that we have been without Mark.
Thank you God for such a special little man. There’s so much to love about him.
Here’s 7 reasons why Nolan is so special:

Four. He loves the outdoors.
Five. He makes me laugh. Daily.
Six. He has his own view of the world.
Seven. He loves to snuggle.

Once again a happy, sad occasion. We thank God for Nolan and we thank God for having Mark in our lives, even though we would of liked to have him longer. As you were searching for pictures for the blog you also found cards that Mark had given you. As you stood there crying in the garage, late at night, looking at pictures reading the WORDS Mark wrote to you I wanted to hug you and take the pain away. I know that I can’t. As sad as it is, I am so happy that Mark was so good with words. He wrote from his heart and what a man, to be able to express himself the way that Mark could. Thank God for Mark, thank God that he was given that talent. Thank God that you have Mark’s words in writing to share with his son for years to come. Nolan knows what a loving father Mark was but he can always read it and feel it in the writings that Mark left! What a priceless gift!

They grow SO fast…hold him tight for as long as you can…at the same time, sit back and watch his little personality grow and change. Before you know it, he will be a grown man!! You can see all of the changes by the awesome pictures you’ve posted.

Happy Birthday today Nolan!!! 7 years old….goes by so fast!!!! Angie, I remember the phone calls those DAYS you were in labor, Mark never left your side, how sad I was I was so far away and couldn’t be there to celebrate with u guys! Still so far away 7 years later. One thing has never changed….I love you guys!!!!
